Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...
"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother." ~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son
"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."
John 21:29
Quotes to Live By- There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point.
- The dying, the cripple, the mental, the unwanted, the unloved-- they are Jesus in disguise.
- In the West there is loneliness, which I call the leprosy of the West. In many ways it is worse than our poor in Calcutta. (Commonweal, Dec 19, 1997)
- It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.
- The poor give us much more than we give them. They're such strong people, living day to day with no food. and they never curse, never complain. We don't have to give them pity or sympathy. We have so much to learn from them.
- I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?
- I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.
- Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.
- If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

So true the saying is, for the more Jesus becomes bigger in your life; the smaller your problems become. Experience is knowledge and knowledge experience thats how I look at it. I have had my share of problems and for the longest time problems seemed to follow me every where I went. I always asked myself are there any solutions to any of my problems. Well there is, and the answer is JESUS.
Problems are everywhere and effect us all everyday in many different ways. And if we allow Jesus to come into our lives we will see a difference, it may not always seem that way; but I have seen changes. Five months ago I nearly gave up all hope; then by the Grace of God I was able to open up my heart and let Jesus in and now that he is here to stay I see my problems slowly drifting away. I came to this Parish not really knowing what to expect, but now here I am....A member of the choir, writing an article for the website and will soon be baptised and confirmed as a full fledged Catholic. People everyday, everywhere, all races and ages suffer from problems that seem too hard to deal with. Even though that it may seem difficult, Jesus loves us and the more we let him into our lives the more our problems will shrink.
So as we all become to know and love JESUS we will see the change in our problems. I hear Fr. John say it all the time.... "The more you allow JESUS to become bigger in your lives, the more you will see your problems become smaller." I never believed that at first, but the more I have got to know Jesus and the love he has for me, the more I see my problems reducing. Yes I still have difficulties in my life; but I see things changing everyday. Take it from me, allow JESUS to become BIGGER than your PROBLEMS and you will eventually see that CHANGE.
