Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...
"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother." ~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son
"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."
John 21:29
Quotes to Live By- There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point.
- The dying, the cripple, the mental, the unwanted, the unloved-- they are Jesus in disguise.
- In the West there is loneliness, which I call the leprosy of the West. In many ways it is worse than our poor in Calcutta. (Commonweal, Dec 19, 1997)
- It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.
- The poor give us much more than we give them. They're such strong people, living day to day with no food. and they never curse, never complain. We don't have to give them pity or sympathy. We have so much to learn from them.
- I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?
- I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.
- Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.
- If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Things just seem to pop up out of nowhere, and why, I ask. I have been experiencing lifes little problems each and every day it seems, in the past few weeks. Now some people don't always handle problems with ease, I have found though, that a way to deal with them and not lose my head, is called PRAYER, and it has been working. My life has taken a dramatic turn in the past month, and I have tried to keep a smile on my face. I pray and pray and pray...each and every day, because GOD works in mysterious ways.
I do not have my own answers for the problems in my life, but Jesus has had some answers for me. He has told me to keep my head up, smile and accept His love and everything will be alright. Why can't all of us see this miracle He performs for us every day? I see and hear people complain about this and they seem to have no idea that if they just ask Jesus for help He will answer. There are always bumps in the road of life and that's why God put shocks on the "wagon of life". I may not be able to handle every little problem that life throws me, but I do know that if I ask, HE will answer.
Life is full of problems and there are those who have bigger problems than myself, I now realize that. So I have decided not to complain about how my problems are effecting my life; but just be thankful for what I do have. I have a family that loves me, I have friends that have faith in me and stand behind me when I need them. So why complain? I see no reason when there are those who have no idea how to deal with their problems. We must maintain a level head, accept Jesus and our problems will get smaller and smaller with time. Take it from me...It took me a lot of years and a lot of praying to figure that one out.
Lifes little problems will only get smaller as time goes by, so PRAY when you are having a problem, and have patience, He can only answer so many prayers at a time.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily Bread,
And forgive us our TRESPASSES,
As we forgive those who TRESPASS against us,
And lead us not into TEMPTATION, but deliver us from evil
For thine is the power, and the GLORY is yours Forever and ever.
AMEN
