Bread of Life

Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Life Giving

by Deacon Mike Caldwell

We have choices in our life in how we conduct ourselves in relation to others. Basically, you can choose to be life giving or life taking. Jesus showed us how to be life giving because He gave so that others could live. To be life taking means that we take from others so that we can live.

In your primary relationships, you should be life giving. You should give, give, and give to your spouse so that your spouse has the life to give back to you. If each spouse did that, the marriage would be full of life and not death. In life taking relationships, neither spouse has the life to give and death enters the marriage.

He gave....
...so others could live.

In all relationships, be life giving with love and charity. Always give love to others, even your enemies. If you love your enemies, they will be confused and will either leave you alone or have a change of heart. Be charitable to all you meet by showing everyone patience, non-judgment, no anger, and respect.

Always give love to others...
...even your enemies.

Do not be selfish with your love because any love that you give must come back to you.
