Bread of Life

Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Hope

by Kelsey McKay

I sometimes feel lost, unwanted and weak, but' I know that it is the weak who will lead the strong. So, how can I feel so weak and so lost?

...It is the weak
...who will lead the strong.

I struggle with this question every day, but I then remember there is one I can follow into the world. That one is God. When I am feeling lost, I remind myself of how much He loves me, how He has shown me a new way, a new path to follow.

The feelin gof being lost is a part of life. We all encounter troubles and obstacles we must overcome. Yes, some are more difficult than others, but don't give up. Think of the utterly desolate Mother of Sorrows on Calvary, holding her dead son in a deathly silence. Think of the millions of refugees around the world in starvation and in utter hopelessness. Hope is still in their souls.

The feeling of being lost ...
...is a part of life.

I have hope and faith and I know that when I am feeling lost, unwanted and weak, I have somewhere to turn...and that gives me hope!
