Bread of Life

Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Let Him Move You

by Patti LaRue

Lent should be the time of year that should see us moving towards Christ with open arms. Although this is not to say that we shouldn't do this all year round. It is just that Lent is powerful, it expresses the ultimate gift that anyone can give to someone else, and that is their life. You can't get much more powerful than that.

Lent is powerful...
...it expresses the ultimate gift.

This is a season for inviting Christ into your life more than you have ever done before. Remember, he will not come in unless you answer his knock at your heart and he is always standing there knocking at your heart.

It's time. Answer the knock!

It's time...
...answer the knock.

I will leave you with this poem.

God is Moving in My Life

God is moving in my life
Because I've asked Him to.
I have invited Him to come,
Controlling all I say and do.

When I am weary...worried,
I turn to Him in prayer.
Regardless of the problems,
I know my God is there.

Sometimes He doesn't fill my need,
My plea and my request,
But I know He has a better plan;
I trust that God knows best.

I focus on God's Holy Words
To ask and I'll receive.
Not my will but His will be done
When I continue to believe.

I walk in faith with confidence,
Void of fear and strife.
Almighty God is guiding me -
Yes, God is moving in my life.
