Bread of Life

Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Believing in Jesus

by Kelsey McKay

"Believing in Jesus Christ and in the One who sent Him for our salviation is necessary for obtaining that salvation. Since without faith it is impossible to please God and to attain the fellowship of His son, therefore without faith no one has ever attained justification, nor will anyone obtain eternal life, but he who endures to the end." Catechism of the Catholic Church

Believing in Jesus Christ and in the One who sent Him for our salvation...
...is necessary for obtaining that salvation.

I feel this paragraph holds a true meaning to us as Christians. Faith has been given to us from God so that we will never fall away from Him. To have faith is to honor God in the highest. Yes, there will be times when we doubt that faith, but don't fall away.

keep the faith...
...and allow God to come into your heart.

I at times have questioned my faith and whether or not God exists, but just as I was down He lifted me right back on to my feet. Faith is something strong enough to help us keep the strength to go on, I'm a prime example. God has rescued all of us whose faith is fervent for Him. Keep the faith and allow God to come into your heart! Faith heals on all levels.
