Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Thank You Jesus

by Patti LaRue

Your love touches me far more than I could have ever imagined
When pain and sorrow seems to surround me
All I need to do is call out your name and your loving
Kindness embraces me

I'm not worthy of such love...
...but that doesn't matter to you

I am not worthy of such love but that doesn't matter to you
I'll probably never be worthy of such love
But that doesn't matter to you
Your love is so strong and true that it can Overcome my unworthiness

I've come to realize that on this journey
A journey I never thought I was capable of making
That you have always been there with me
All I had to do was open my heart to your love

I will never understand the depth of your love
But I realize that you don't expect that of me
I know now that it's not understanding it
But simply accepting it as the one and only truth

I will never understand ...
...the depth of your love

I'm ready now to bear my cross and give it all up to you
I'm ready for the challenge to accept the truth
That your love is nothing to be afraid of
That your love is there to lift my soul to it's highest
