Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

It's a Struggle

by Patti LaRue

Face it, life simply is not easy. It's a struggle, plain and simple. There's always going to be pain, suffering, hunger, sadness, etc. No one said it was going to be easy. Not even Christ. He never promised us that life on this earth would be a walk in the park. It's not suppose to be.

Life simply is not easy...
...It's a struggle, plain and simple.

It's taken most of my adult life to finally get it. It's not the struggles in our lives that's important, but how we handle them, how we cope with the situation that we might find ourselves in. Many of us, I myself included, find it hard to do the right thing and give in. Not to the struggles, but to give into Christ's love for us and His complete and total willingness to step in and take a hold of our struggles and make them bearable.

For years, I thought I had to continue on through life handling it all by myself. And in doing so, I made many, many, many wrong decisions. Decisions that simply made my life miserable! And I couldn't figure out why I felt so empty and unfulfilled. Like DUH! Wake up and smell the coffee girl!

Don't get the wrong idea here, I'm still struggling to let it all go, but as I learn to trust less in myself and rely more upon Christ, I find it easier on a daily basis to give in to His complete and total willingness to love us and share our burdens!

I learn to trust less in myself.... ...
...and rely more upon Christ.

I'm doing something different here.....Click Here and listen to this song. Listen to the words, don't just hear the words, feel them.

Give in.
