Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Daydreaming About God

by Nancy Sanger

Do you ever daydream about God? I do. Sometimes I have questions and I look for the answers. I depend on the Holy Spirit to show them to me. If I'm really serious, I'll read the Catecism and the Bible. Daily Mass and daily rosary help and bless me greatly. I recommend these activities to the anyone who wants to know God more. It's amazing how much easier it is to ask for prayers and pray for others when involved in these activities.

Do you ever daydream about God?...
...I do.

After reading what I wrote last time in the Weekly Word; I found the Bible language awfully formal and decided I needed a simpler translation, at least of the Psalms. So I asked God for that. Within a week I'd found Prayers Before an Awesome God, The Psalms for Teenagers by Daivd Haas. I know I'm not a teenager, but the language is clear and simple much like our modern hymns. I like it and I understand it.

God is good.... ...
...All the time.

And wasn't that prayer answered quickly! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. That's something to daydream about! You are loved!
