Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...
"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother." ~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son
"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."
John 21:29
Quotes to Live By- There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point.
- The dying, the cripple, the mental, the unwanted, the unloved-- they are Jesus in disguise.
- In the West there is loneliness, which I call the leprosy of the West. In many ways it is worse than our poor in Calcutta. (Commonweal, Dec 19, 1997)
- It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.
- The poor give us much more than we give them. They're such strong people, living day to day with no food. and they never curse, never complain. We don't have to give them pity or sympathy. We have so much to learn from them.
- I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?
- I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.
- Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.
- If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

They say that miracles happen everyday, and that they happen in many ways. I believe that it's true. I read that miracles are supernatural and that it's a way of God showing us that it's good to believe.
I myself do believe in miracles and that they happen everyday. For it is told that Jesus performed miracles by healing the sick and raising the dead. People also have witnessed Angels, which is a miracle in itself. I recently read a touching story of a boy who was injured severely by a car who had an Angel appear before him to comfort him in his time of need. For a few days the boys parents prayed and prayed that their son would pull through and make it; And as we all believe miracles do happen...then by the Grace of God and through the power of prayer the boy and all his injuries were healed. That story is proof right there that miracles do happen.
I myself have witnessed, what I believe to be a small miracle. It all happened last May. I received a letter from my Mother saying that her cat(Stockings) had fallen ill with feline leukemia and that the vet only gave him a week to live, three weeks if they put him on antibiotic therapy.
They were told to prepare themselves for the worst. Honestly the vet mentioned putting Stockings down, but my Mother wanted him to be around those who loved him if he were to pass. So my mother decided to take him home, give him plenty of love, attention, any food he wanted to eat, and lots of prayer hoping to make his last few days on earth the happiest of his life. For a short while it seemed that the vet might be right....but the miracle in itself is that it has been nearly ten months and Stockings is still around.....Happy, and just as playful and healthier looking than he's ever been in his entire life.
I believe in miracles and the profound impact that they have on everyday people and their lives. Miracles do happen, everyday and in every way. If we all believe, then let's work miracles together and to love and cherish what we have; and what we can have in our lives.
