Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Everlasting Love

by Kelsey McKay

Amazing, wonderful, comforting, compelling, overwhelming. These are just a few of the many words that express His love for us. It's a love that is not hard to come by. Some people search and look everywhere for this kind of love, but they are blind, because there's no need to look hard; for this love is right there in front of them.

There's no need to look hard....
...this love is right there in front of them.

How do we come by this love? Simple, just ask, even though we are not worthy of such great love, He still insists in giving it to us. Some find it hard to believe that God loves them since they are sinners, but if you just ask for forgiveness, you'll understand. Just invite Him into your heart, that's a start.

Love, an expression of warm feelings between one another. Indeed that's true. Do you not love your child? Well, we are asll God's children, therefore doesn't He love us as we love our own children? We don't need to search and search, all we need to do is know that He loves us. Even when we sin, He forgives us, believe it! I have found that asking Him for my sins to be forgiven, I find myself happier and more content with my spiritual life.

If you just ask for forgiveness..... ...
...you'll understand.

At times we all feel lost, alone, and even experience a little depression, and we turn to God and blame Him for the things that are going wrong in our lives. Why? Does God make you choose the things that you do in your life? No, not at all. You control your own actions which cause a reaction, whether it's good or bad. And whether we sin when we react to certain problems, well that all depends upon us. Why don't you stop, ask God for gorgiveness of your sins and hand over the reins to Him and allow God to guide you.

This is where you start to feel and understand God's love. It's unconditional and ceases to fail us if we truly show our faith in Him. We need to remember that He gave up His only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and that we might live. That's pure love, who can compare to that? True love starts with our Redeemer, feel His embrace, feel His love, for He is our true Father and He loves us unconditionally and always will.
