Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...
"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother." ~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son
"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."
John 21:29
Quotes to Live By- There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point.
- The dying, the cripple, the mental, the unwanted, the unloved-- they are Jesus in disguise.
- In the West there is loneliness, which I call the leprosy of the West. In many ways it is worse than our poor in Calcutta. (Commonweal, Dec 19, 1997)
- It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving.
- The poor give us much more than we give them. They're such strong people, living day to day with no food. and they never curse, never complain. We don't have to give them pity or sympathy. We have so much to learn from them.
- I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?
- I do not pray for success. I ask for faithfulness.
- Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.
- If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Stress is one the many ways that Satan trys to block our views and love of Jesus. Learning to deal with stress can and will be difficult. There are many different types of stress, stress of losing a loved one, of losing a job and so on. I myself have experienced a certain amount of stress lately, but I have come to realize that letting my stress overwhelm me is not the answer. It only leads to more stress which in turn leads to more and more. Recently stress had started to overwhelm me and I was feeling alone, then a few certain people in my life made me realize that there is a solution to over coming this stress.
I had lost my job and was having a real difficult time finding another one, so instead of taking it in stride, I STRESSED about it and would get angry. I felt I was losing touch with myself and Jesus. So I took the time to pray and ask God what I should do. I noticed that God had started answering my prayers each and every one. Each day I started to pray and pray more and noticed that things began to look even brighter. My attitude towards my own self and others began to change drastically and I began to feel even better about myself. Stress is hard and can not just hurt yourself; but can hurt others as well. My love for Jesus has shown me that I can over come my stress and live everyday to the fullest.
So if we just ask our Lord Jesus Christ to help us take everyday in stride and help us with our stress we can over come it. We are not powerless against Satan, he will add stress to our lives everyday, but if we keep the faith and believe and love Jesus we will win that battle every time we face it.
I made a box, which I call my stress box, and each time I start to stress I write what I am stressing about on a sticky note; put it in that box and pray to God that he will help me with it. And I'll tell you what....IT WORKS!! Thanks be to God!! So the meaning is to not let your stress overwhelm you to the point of no return, Jesus loves us and if we let Him into our lives He will help us over come any obstacle that's put forth in front of us.
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!!
