If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts. This has a lot to do with salvation. If you pay attention to what God is telling you, your heart will be open. Salvation is more about an open heart, a change of heart, rather than tallying up points or good deeds thinking that will get you to heaven.
1. Do you know what God's will is for you? If your heart is open, you won't have to tally points because you will know the right thing to do because your heart will tell you.
2. Do you know what sins need to be forgiven? If your heart is open, you won't have to wonder because you will know because your heart will tell you.
If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Jesus wants to tell you so you have to listen. But we don't listen and Jesus weeps. Listen to your heart. Jesus knows God's plans and God's plan for our salvation; harden not your heart.
Pray to God to guide you to identify the sins you need to repent and ask for forgiveness. Pray to God to guide you to identify His will for you so that your heart will be open.
