Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

John 21:29

Peace of Mind

by Patti LaRue

I'm sure that all of us now or at some point in time have faced many different trials in our lives whether it's unemployment, illness, broken hearts, etc.

all of us now or at some point in time....
...have faced many different trials.

Right now in fact I'm sure there are many of you who are reading this right now who are going some sort of trial in your life.

for all of you who are suffering...
...below you will find a prayer.

And so for all of you who are suffering, below you will find a prayer - keep this prayer close to your hearts and may it bring you the peace of mind you so need at this time of your lives.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you knowing that you love me, care for me, and will never abandon me.

I want to be like Mary, who, in spite of her sorrows and great pain, was able to enjoy peace of mind in the midst of her suffering, confident that God was at her side to give her courage.

Help me to know that my suffering and pain too will pass, as you guide me along the right path and that only goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life.

Jesus, heal my heart and grant me peace of mind.

Amen
