Bread of Life
Prayer...

Prayer is, in the strictest sense, a humble religious petition of man to God to seek divine benevolence and benefits he needs for life, both temporal and eternal. It is a conversation with God, either by accepted prayer forms, or from the heart. Consider these words as if God were speaking them to His children...

"It is not necessary my child, to know much in order to please me much; it is enough that you love me fervently. Speak here to me then, as you would speak to your most intimate friend, to your mother, to your brother."

~God your Father~

He Gave His Only Son

"Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

Prayer for Forgiveness

by Kelsey McKay

My dear God, how could I have been lost for so long? How could I not have seen that I belong to you and it's you that has given me everything I need?

it's you....
...that has given me everything I need.

Please forgive your humble servant. For you are the God of true life and I am truly sorry for being so distant from you. Please enter my mind and heart and help me to see everything I've been missing this whole time.

I pray to you now for your forgiveness. I am on my knees begging you to show me your endless love that I've been missing for so long. I was blinded by wordly temptations and forgot the true meaning of why you sent your only son to die for me. Now I understand how much you love me, I feel your grace and I now know that I want to live my life for you. No more will I turn my face away from you. No more will I be that one lost sheep.

I pray to you now...
...for your forgiveness.

Please forgive me. Now I am humbled by your mercy and grace.

My arms are now fully open and ready for your embrace. I love you with all my mind, heart and sould. Thank you for showing me your love. In your son's precious name, Jesus Christ. Amen
