Care Ministry Eucharistic Ministers to
the Sick Meeting February 12th from 7:00 PM to
8:00PM in the Parish Center (the
office living room). This is for all the ministers to come talk about issues that have come up
and share where you struggle and get input from others on what works for
them. For those who don’t struggle, please come share how you have dealt with
issues so that our new ministers can learn from you. We will be meeting on
the 2nd Tuesday evening of every
month. Hope to see you. Becky Lenten
Day of Recollection
A day of spiritual nourishment especially for our
ministers to the sick. Our speaker is Fr. Jack Mosbrucker, recently retired
from St. Therese Parish Center and a wonderful speaker. It will be on Friday,
February 22nd from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM here at St. Joseph the Worker.
Flyers will be in the back of church next week. Pre-registration is needed in order to know
how many lunches to prepare. There is
no cost to ministers to the sick in our parish; $15 to others who wish to
attend. Please pre-register by calling
Becky or dropping the registration in the collection basket. Ministry Sunday: The Pastoral Council will be sponsoring a Ministry Sunday this year.
We hope to have this event sometime in August or the first week in
September. Our first official meeting will be Sunday, February 24th, at 12:15
PM in the Social Room. Ministry Sunday. Questions, please call Patti LaRue at
