Isn’t it amazing to think of all that God knows? All at once he knows every thought, temptation, and action of every human being that ever was, is and will be! Consider your own life just on the level of decision-making. We make literally thousand’s of decisions each day. There are over six billion people in the world so times that number by thousand’s and you get countless decisions by human beings in just one day. Now, think of how many years we have been around as human beings. There is no way we could add up all the decisions made by human beings in our history in this world. And God knows each and every one of them.

God is constantly thinking about each one of us. He can do that because he is omniscient. He is perfectly connected to all that is going on with in each one of us. Do we believe this?

Perhaps you have had the experience of someone saying to you, “I know what you are going through.” And you think, “Oh really. How would you know what I am going through? You are not me.” Or maybe everyone else seems too busy or careless to take the time and really try to understand what is going on inside of you. So, you start to think that you have to “Go it alone” because there is no one to share with.

There are quite a few times I feel like I have to “Go it alone.” Regardless of the many reasons why I might not be able to feel like I can share what is going on inside, I start thinking, “No one knows or understands or really cares to know.” But then Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit, intervenes and reminds me that I am not alone. He is with me. I am never alone. Jesus knows all things about me, all that I am going through.

It is a lie to say that no one really understands. Jesus does. He understands us better than we understand ourselves. He knows all about our fears and sufferings and is always willing to flood us to the overflowing with his amazing grace. Just ask. He is never off-duty.
