Meeting began at 6:00 pm
Opening
Father John led the group in the opening prayer
Old Business
Greeters
The Pastoral Council Members will be on the schedule as greeters for the second Sunday of the
month. The weekend of the 9th and 10th the greeters will be Bill at 5:00, Mike at 8:30, and Nancy at
10:30.
Concerns of parishioners about perfumes and deodorants were shared with the group. There was not real resolution that could be made about this issue.
Ministries Fair
There was a debriefing about the event. Perhaps a change in location would increase
participation? We could put tables lining the Narthex so we don’t miss so many people as they are
leaving church
Ministries Flyer
Corrections to the flyer Bill created were discussed. Bill will make the necessary corrections and
get the flyers printed to have available after the masses.
International Potluck
The International Potluck will be November 6th after the 5:00 mass. Set up will be 3-5. Nancy
shared where we are at with the planning and the groups that have responded about attending
The Community and the Poor
Building A New Church
The need for more space to help more people was discussed. The church currently seats between
700 and 800 people. Nancy will look in to the possibility of getting grants.
