Meeting began at 7:00 pm
Opening
Father John led the group in the opening prayer
Old Business
Greeters
The Pastoral Council Members have been changed as greeters to the fourth Sunday of November
because of a conflict with the Youth/Life Teen Mass. We will serve as greeters at the masses
November 27th and 28th. For December we will be back to the second Sunday.
Debriefing of International Potluck
Everyone agreed that it was a very special event. There was a good response from members
of the parish that do not attend other events. There were about 100 people who attended and
everyone seemed to have a good time. We were especially grateful to Nancy for all her work with
signing people up after the masses. It was suggested that we might want to have another such
event at Pentecost. It was also discussed that we might want to have displays of nativities from
different countries for Christmas, but because we do not have another Pastoral Council meeting
until January this idea was tabled until next year.
