At some time or another in our lives, we all need prayer. Requesting prayer for others we know is far
easier to ask for than for oneself. Sometimes we might feel that requesting prayer for oneself from
others might appear to be selfish and self-centered or even weak. But that couldn't be further from
the truth. Asking for prayer is a step towards surrendering it all to Christ. He wants all of us to
be in communion with one another and what better way could there be to be in communion with one another
than communial prayer?
This is why we have set up this special request page so that if you feel that you need prayer, you have
a place to ask for it without having to approach someone in person. So please take advantage of this
opportunity that our church community is giving to you.
Also feel free to use this prayer request page for others as well, if you know of someone or a loved one
that you believe needs immediate prayer, fill out the form below.
All prayer requests will be forwarded onto Father John, the Prayer Chain, and the Prayer Group here at
St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
