Be merciful and give me faith, patience and hope as I humbly still myself and listen to you speak to me. Tell my heart and my mind that although I do not always understand your ways, I do trust with all my heart that You, my Father in Heaven, loves me so preciously and will not give me anything that will lead me astray. Give me also the grace to pray as earnestly for those who are in need, those who are in despair and open my eyes to those who are in need today, and do not let me be so selfish and focused on me that I will fail to see those whom you put in my way to help today. No matter how my day is today, today is the day You, my Father, has made, let me rejoice and be glad in it." God has said that He will give us immediately anything that we ask for as long as it is according to His will (meaning, it will make us closer to Him), and therefore, be like a child who tags at her or His Father's sweater and ask freely for hope, for cheer, for love, for joy, and most especially ask that He may grant you the knowledge of Him, to be able to feel His love fire up your heart, to fill you with His peace and Happiness, and believe me, He will. Keep asking Him for more and little by little you will feel His peace and love descend upon you, until you will truly find rest and no other thing can match that joy and hope that is in you. Also, always keep the name of Jesus upon your lips and heart, and salute the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus as often as you can each day. Salute the Most Immaculate Heart of Mary each day and all the saints. Pray for the grace to know Jesus and be His friend so that in the hour of death, He will be a friend.
