Welcome to the preparation program for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The time of preparation is really a journey where we offer the opportunity for the candidates to come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and move from being "Hearers of the Word" to "Doers of the Word." Preparating for the Sacrament of Confirmation requires commitment on the part of the candidates and support and encouragement from both parents and sponsors as candidates prepare to receive the final Sacrament of Initiation.

Dates for celebrating the Sacrament of Conformation for high school teens (grades 7-12) will be announced.  Continue to watch this website and to listen for announcements at Mass.  All confirmation candidates and their families must be regularly attending Sunday Mass at St. Joseph the worker and classes must be attended by the confirmation candidates.  

The date for the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Joseph the Worker will be set by the bishops of the Archdiocese of Portland.
