Laura Bissonette directs and accompanies the choir on piano and violin. The daughter of Frank Lebold who directed music for St. Rose and the Cathedral, she grew up surrounded by Catholic choirs and liturgies. As an adult, Laura received her degree in Elementary Education from Concordia. She taught music and other subjects in public schools in Oregon and Washington for several years, finally ending up at Saint Therese School where she taught music, drama, and middle-school health among other subjects. Laura brings a rich history of liturgical music, teaching, and knowledge of musical instruments to her position at St. Joseph the Worker.
